This is a demo of a FAX server integration created using our sms2fax plugin product in just 15 minutes of work. (Service Status: Enabled)

Scenario A:

If you are located in Singapore, send an SMS to 90678206 with "Price" followed by your local fax number, e.g.

"Price 62224203"

Scenario B:

If you are located outside Singapore, send an SMS to +6590678206 with "Quote" followed by your international fax number, e.g.

"Quote 865922197771"

Points to note:
i. Remember to include your country code,
ii. Do not add your local international access code.
iii. Do not add the + sign.
iv. Do not leave spaces in between the numbers.

IMPORTANT: You will always receive a confirmation SMS from our server if your network can reach SingTel network and vice versa for us to you. However, your fax may not be sent as indicated as not all countries are covered by the international access code we use.

Behind the scenes

So how did we program VisualGSM Enterprise to send a fax to you?

We used a "keyword" method which executes a Fax interface or plugin we did in VB or Visual Basic, passing to it a parameter - your fax number. The fax server then sends out the fax to the intended recipient on a one-by-one basis.

Here's a screenshot of the configuration we used. In the example below, the parameter is 1511{M1}. While {M1} represent your fax number, 1511 is the International Access Code we are using, added as a prefix to your fax number.
