This is a demo of an email server integration created using VisualGSM Enterprise keyword-to-email feature. (Service Status: Enabled)

To use, send an SMS to +6591653870 with "Info" followed by your email address, e.g.

"Info tom@hotmail.com"

or

"INFO tom@hotmail.com"

Points to note:
i). Do not leave spaces in between the email address.
ii). Do not include the double quotes!
iii). The keyword is caps insensitive.

IMPORTANT: You will always receive a confirmation SMS from our server if your network can reach SingTel network. If you do not receive a confirmation email, there's a chance we did not receive your message - inter-network issues. Please email support@visualtron.com should you have any problems.

Behind the scenes

So how did we program VisualGSM Enterprise to send an email attachment to you?

We used a "keyword" method which does an email interface, passing 2 parameters - your email address and phone number. VisualGSM then sends out the email to the intended recipient, and forward a confirmation SMS to you.

Here's a screenshot of the configuration we used. In the example below, we define {M} as the email address.

{M} represents the 1st word in the message after the keyword, which in this example is INFO. The Body field represents the message within the email sent to {M}. It can contain parameters from the SMS message. The Attachment fields contains the path to the attachment. More than one attachment can be added.
