Great Eastern Life Assurance Company with

Scenerio
Great Eastern Life recently launched their newly revamped Internet portal, which saw a rush of enquiries for insurance products from the public. Public enquiry is disseminated to agents by email. But as agents are frequently on the move, there is a time lag before they can respond to the enquiries. To facilitate speed of response to enquiry, a mobile extension to the lead management system is required.
Solution
We integrated VisualGSM Enterprise with the existing lead management system on iPlanet Application Server and Oracle 8i database using Java servlets. Interactive messaging is also required as insurance agents are required to response to the lead notifications before they will receive the lead contact information. This will ensure that leads not acknowledged will be reallocated to another agent. Each agents have a virtual mobile "mailbox" that stores their leads contact information collected over a period of time. The project is implemented in phases, the service stress tested and trialed with agents before going live.

Supreme Court of Singapore with

Scenerio
Currently, lawyers handling their cases at the Supreme Court have no means to find out information on their cases, like location of a hearing, while on the move. As lawyers are constantly traveling from offices to the courts, they need an easy way to retrieve information on the go.
 
Solution
We integrated VisualGSM Enterprise with a newly designed OpenSQLServer SAPDB web-based data management system for case information, duty registrars, duty judges. Lawyers can enquire using SMS the duty registrar on a particular day, or information on a particular court case. The information services implemented using VisualGSM is deployed with help features to assist users on the correct enquiry format should they enter the wrong format. Court officers can also send broadcast notification to lawyers using the system.
 

SSCI Pte Ltd & Reeds Exhibition Companies with

Scenerio
SSCI Pte Ltd and Reeds Exhibition Companies have been using for 4 years hand-held recorder/scanning devices for their exhibitiors. There are several disadvantages to using such a system such as the hardware requisition cost which can be substantial for large exhibitions. The follow-up sales action also can only happen after data is downloaded to the system from the recorders at the end of the exhibition. This method incurs extra manpower costs and time.
 
Solution
We provided VisualGSM Enterprise and the set of API which the customer used to develop a new Interactive Smart Message Service (I-SMS) service which aims to provide a smooth flow of information for exhibition leads management. The distinguishing feature of I-SMS is its ability to execute Sales Leads Recording (SLR), while providing information on promotions and other services. For example, exhibitors can obtain visitor information and sales leads at their booth while performing follow-up actions on their mobile phones at the same time.
I-SMS announcements can also be sent to pre-registered visitors at any time. Users can download [the required information] from the Internet [via I-SMS] at any time of the day,?said Angelica Lim, Group Vice-President of Reeds, when asked about how convenient it would be to use the system.
To activate the service, the exhibitor will have to key in the visitors badge number and a programmed sales action code will be sent via SMS to a SSCI-designated centre phone number. The sales action will then be executed almost immediately after the centre receives the message. The visitor will subsequently receive an e-mail message with the required information. At the end of the event, a report that lists the sales leads accumulated and the sales actions taken will be sent to the exhibitor.
